Thrive 10:10, a local nonprofit dedicated to bridging the gap between poverty and stability, announces a significant leadership transition.
Co-founder and Executive Director Vicky Kelley has resigned from her position to take a medical leave. Vicky’s vision and leadership have been instrumental in launching Thrive 10:10 and shaping its life-changing work in the Mahoning Valley. The organization expresses deep gratitude for her dedication and impact, wishing her healing and a bright future ahead.
“Her vision for Thrive 10:10 has started a movement that has truly changed lives,” the organization shared. “We will miss her more than we can express.”
In light of this transition, the Board of Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Meghan DeGregory as the new Executive Director.
A Co-founder of Thrive 10:10, Meghan has been a driving force behind the organization's growth. She has led key initiatives including program development, grant writing, and strategic education. Meghan brings over two decades of experience in mental health and leadership. Her background includes service as a Psychiatric Nurse in Community Mental Health and, most recently, Operations Director at Thrive 10:10. She also currently serves as Ministry Coordinator at Girard First United Methodist Church.
Meghan regularly trains churches, businesses, and community members in Bridges Out of Poverty and Mental Health First Aid, empowering both those served and those serving. “We started with an idea. Now we’re saving lives,” she says.
Thrive 10:10 offers innovative programs such as Ruth’s Boutique, Getting Ahead, Staying Ahead, Bridges Out of Poverty training, and Mental Health First Aid certification. These initiatives support individuals moving from surviving to thriving—equipping them with tools, resources, and relationships that foster long-term success.
As Meghan takes the helm, the Thrive 10:10 team is energized for the future. “We are excited to move forward under her leadership and continue building a community where everyone can thrive.”
