What I Am Learning

I’m not here to tell you that I know it all, but I’m here to pay attention to what I’m learning about people, possibility, leadership, and building a life that actually works. This is the secret sauce to a life well-lived - being teachable.

I come from a family of coaches, so I have always heard the terms "coachable" and that a player is, or isn't coachable. I think this is true in life as well as on the field/mat/course, etc.

If you know me, you know I have been surrounded by sports my whole life, but have not really ever liked sports. I mean, I know that it is a good thing and that it provides an individual with discipline, determination and grit that not much else does in this world, but it was never my thing..but the older I get, the more I appreciate what sports has done for people I have watched grow in it and through it.

And I think that lifelong learning is the same. I often say, "the older I get, the less I know for sure", but what I do know - there is a lot to Learn! As we delve into understanding how we an all thrive, let's keep the conversation going. If you read something that resonates with you, let me know. If you have push-back, let me know that as well.

Being a leader is being teachable. Learning and adapting as things grow, and change. We are all leaders in different ways....Join me, and others, as we delve into these topics. Meghan
